The Kingdom of Bahrain condemns the heinous terrorist attack which took place in the northern border area of Arar, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, that killed a number of security men today morning, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
"The Kingdom stresses that this dastardly attack on security personnel who were performing their duties and tasks reflects the extent of brutality of the perpetrators of this despicable action which is contrary to the Islamic religion, its values and teachings of tolerance as well as contrary to divine law, all of which ensure the safety of lives," the ministry said.
"The Kingdom affirms its unwavering stance in support of its sisterly country the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and supports all its actions to deter terrorists, repel outlaws and ensure security and stability in all parts of the Kingdom.
"While the Kingdom of Bahrain expresses its heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs and to the leadership, government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it reaffirms its condemnation of all forms of violence and terrorism, which require the intensification of collective action and international solidarity to confront such criminal operations that are forbidden in Islam and to rid the world at large of such acts and of its perpetrators."
