
The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA)'s President and members have submitted utmost signs of gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for appointing them in the latest SCIA's reshuffle.
SCIA's President HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa chaired the first session of the newly restructured council.
In his opening speech he welcomed the Vice-President and new members, congratulating them on the royal trust and affirming his confidence in their' capability of serving their religion and the homeland.
He underlined the previous council's efforts, expressing his gratitude and appreciation for the outgoing council members for their efforts in achieving the SCIA's goals.
The SCIA's President has extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa; His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa; and, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister and to the Bahraini, Arab and Islamic peoples on the occasion of the last 10 days of Ramadan and near advent of Eid Al-Fitr.
The SCIA has formed four standing committees in the council.
