
Municipalities and Urban Planning Minister Dr. Jum'a bin Ahmed Al Kaabi will lead the Kingdom's delegation to the eighth ministerial meeting of GCC Ministers of Municipality Affairs in the State of Kuwait.
The Minister said that the meeting which takes place on Thursday is a key step which reinforces joint GCC municipal work. He said that joint meetings at various levels and work teams contribute in the implementing of joint programmes aimed to achieve the aspirations of GCC citizens and to avail from expertise and experiences in development of municipal work.
The Kingdom's delegation includes the Minister of Municipalities and Urban Planning Dr. Jum'a bin Ahmed Al Kaabi; the Ministry's Director-General for Urban Planning Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa; and, Waeld Nasser Al-Mubarak the Secretary-General for Urban Planning and Development in the Ministry.
The meeting will see the approval of the regulation for the GCC Municipal Work Award and announcement of the first version of this award as well as approval of the final exemplary municipal instructions manual in implementation of the Supreme Council resolution regarding implementation of municipal databases in cooperation with the private sector.
