The Kingdom of Bahrain recalled its Ambassador to Iran for consultations, following what it called repeated hostile statements pronounced by several Iranian officials.
Manama has denounced, in strong words, a news item reported by Bahrain News Agency today, over the continuation of such hostile statements against Bahrain, regardless to the principles of good neighbourliness, commitment to international laws and norms, UN Charter or the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) directives, which prohibit and reject all manifestations of intervention, in the internal affairs of other countries.
Bahrain stressed that such repeatedly unfortunate statements, absolutely, do not embody any genunie good intents of Iran to build friendly relations, reaffirming that it will take all possible measurements and means and tread all ways to ensure consolidating the security as well as the safety of its people.
