
Bahrain and Egypt will work on boosting bilateral parliamentary cooperation during the coming period, Bahraini Parliament Speaker Ahmed Almulla said on Sunday.
He made the remarks during a meeting with Egypt's Ambassador to Bahrain Soha Ibrahim.
During the gathering, Almulla asserted that Egypt's security is part and parcel of Bahrain's security, adding the Bahraini Parliament will seek to foster bilateral ties in various fields.
He pointed to the historic and well-established relations binding the two countries in various domains.
Also, they touched on joint Arab issues and ways to bolster bilateral parliamentary cooperation during the coming phase.
