
Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al-Kaabi, welcomed hosting the 52nd session's meetings of the Permanent Bureau of the Arab Cities Organization (ACO) by the Kingdom of Bahrain at the end of November 2014.
This came during ACO Secretariat' delegation's visit to Manama city to prepare for the upcoming ACO meetings in Manama.
Manama Municipality Director-General, Eng. Mohamed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received the ACO delegation and discussed the necessary arrangements to ensure the success of the meetings.
Manama Municipality Director underscored Bahrain's municipalities' keenness to benefit from ACO organized meetings and training workshops.
ACO is an Arab regional non-governmental organization that was established in 1967 and headquartered in Kuwait city. It holds annual meetings in one of Arab cities to discuss reports, policies and programs related to the advancement of Arab cities and people.
