
The third edition of the Arab Gulf Forum for Strategic Planning (AGFSP) will open in Bahrain on November18.
Bahrain Society for Strategic Planning and ActSmart will co-roganise the three-day symposium at the Sofitel Hotel and Spa.
AGFSP Secretary-General Dr. Fahd Ibrahim Al-Shehabi and Bahrain Society for Strategic Planning Chairperson Dr. Hala Slaibikh will address the opening session, along with the keynote speaker. The patron of the forum will also honour the speakers and sponsors.
The second day of the forum will feature three sessions which will address respectively the role of governments in mapping regional plans, think tanks and the consolidation of regional plans.
Former Shura Council member Dr. Fahd Al-Arabi Al-Harthi, London-based editor-in-chief Abdul Aziz Al-Khamis, Gulf Centre for Strategic Center President Dr. Omar Al-Hassan and other keynote speakers will address the second session.
The third day of the forum will also feature three sessions which will held respectively under the themes "Economic Unity.. Ambitions and Challenges", "Military Unity" and "Arabian Gulf Union Visions".
Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Chief Executive Officer Nabeel Abdulrahman Al-Mahmoud, Economic Expert Dr. Ahmed Al-Yoshai, Bahrain Economist Society Chairman Dr. Jaafer Al-Sayegh will address the sessions among other keynote speakers.
