
Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa has affirmed that Capital Governorate and Trustees' preparations are underway for the celebration of the National Days on December 16 and 17, marking the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 43rd Anniversary of its Accession to the UN as a full member and the 15th Anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's Accession to the Throne, under the theme " National Days Bring Us Together."
This came as Shaikh Hesham, Chairman of the Celebration's Supreme Committee accompanied by Director General of Manama Municipality and Head of Celebration's Executive Committee Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa paid a visit to the celebration's site, in the presence of a number of officials.
Shaikh Hesham confirmed that the celebration to be held on December 13, in Al Fateh Corniche from 4.00 P.M to 8.00 P.M, will be Bahrain's largest celebration as it will feature new and unique surprises.
He hailed the high level of coordination and cooperation between the Capital Governorate and Trustees, out of their the belief in the importance of upgrading collective government work, pointing out that these efforts reflect their keenness on holding an outstanding celebration that honours Bahrain's reputation.
Shaikh Mohammed affirmed that the media momentum before the celebration gave a positive impact.
The celebration will present diversified and innovative programme and will feature the largest and most array of activities and surprises, including the unprecedented prize at National Day's celebrations, a raffle draw on a car.
