
The Director of Employee Performance & Relation directorate at Civil Service Bureau (CSB), Salah Jassim Al-Gillidary, confirmed that, during the year 2014, 8596 employees from various government entities under the umbrella of CSB have benefited from the incentives and rewards programme, at a rate 80.5% from a total of 10671 incentives and rewards allocated for government entities.
Al-Gillidary explained that the incentives, rewards and suggestions programme set out in the Civil service Law, Executive Regulations and the financial regulation and applicable for all government entities is one of the important programme, CSB gives it high attention, since it is the cornerstone of progress in administrative work and development and also to create a stimulating work environment, through the development of the current system and by providing technical support to government entities, he indicated that the total of 4851 incentive allowance have been allocated to the government entities, the total consumption of incentive allowance, one step was 1533 by 32%, and more than one step was 2273 by 47% and total consumption was 3806 by 78.4%
With regards to incentives award (cash) , the director of Employee Performance & Relation directorate stated that, a total of 4851 has been allocated, 682 employees have been granted the incentive at the rate of 100 dinar by 14%, 2776 employees at the rate of more than 100 dinar, the total of consumption was 3458 by 71%, and with regards to Employee Discipline Award, 971 incentives have been allocated to the government entities, where 607 employees have been granted by 62.5%, and the employees of the year award have been granted to 27 employees.
