
Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa patronised today, at the Royal Defence Force Training Centre, the graduation ceremony of an advanced mobilisation session for officers.
On arrival, he was welcomed by the Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, Royal Guard Commander Staff Colonel Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Inspector-General Major-General Abdulla Hassan Al-Nuaimi, the centre's Commandant Major General Jaber Abdullah bin Huwail, and a number of senior BDF officers.
After being greeted, the BDF Commander-in-Chief inspected the Guard of Honour. Then, he headed to the December 16 Hall, where the ceremony started with a recitation of some Holy Quran verses.
The Commandant of the Royal Defence Force Training Centre delivered a statement in which he thanked the BDF Commander-in-Chief for patronising the graduation ceremony and continuous support to the centre, which, he said, consolidated its training potentials. He added that a number of officers from the Kuwaiti armed forces had participated in the session.
He also presented a briefing on the session's theoretical and practical programmes.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief presented the graduates with certificates, and honoured top achievers. He congratulated them and urged them to continue training and learning to avail of advanced specialised training programmes provided by BDF and further boost their capabilities and competence.
He expressed delight at attending the event, and thanked the Royal Defence Force Training Centre's Commandant and officers for the tremendous efforts they make for the sake of ensuring quality training for the officers.
He affirmed the BDF's constant keenness to upgrade the level of its affiliates through providing them with the best training based on the latest military methods and systems, wishing the BDF further progress, under the leadership of Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.
Defence Ministry's Undersecretary major-General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Military Attaché at the Kuwaiti Embassy here major-General Ali Suleiman Al Asaker, Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations Brigadier-General Ghanim Ibrahim Al-Fadhala, and a number of senior BDF officers were present.
