
Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa today paid an inspection visit to a BDF unit.
Upon arrival, he was welcomed by the unit's commander and a number of BDF senior officers.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief was briefed about the unit's latest development plans and advanced technical systems, and inspected its equipment and military preparedness.
He affirmed BDF's constant desire to provide its units with the latest and most modern military systems, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.
He said that BDF is getting stronger, and has become a modern force in terms of weaponry and training.
He stressed that BDF will spare no efforts to implement HM the King's directives to rehabilitate national cadres and train them on the requirements of modern military technology, expressing pride in the BDF's affiliates' advanced level and dedication in the service of the homeland.
He also pledged that BDF will carry on its plans to upgrade the level of its affiliates in accordance with the latest military and combat standards so as to enable them to perform their duties in the best way.
He lauded the high morale of the BDF affiliates in all fields, and commended their dedication in assuming their sacred duties of defending and preserving the historical landmark achievements.
He stressed that BDF affiliates have always set themselves as models of patriotism and dedication in the service of the homeland and HM the King, the Supreme Commander.
