Bahrain's Council of Representatives has strongly rejected Iranian intervention in Syria, Iraq and Yemen and condemned all interventions that affect the Kingdom of Bahrain and the rest of the Gulf Cooperation Council, GCC, for the Arab States.
In a statement carried on Monday by the Bahrain News Agency, BNA, the council voiced deep concerns over the alarming deterioration of the security situation in Aleppo and neighbouring areas, deploring the tragic plight of the Syrian people due to spiraling violence and war atrocities.
The statement noted the international reports which voiced deep concerns over the flagrant transgression of the Syrian people's basic right to life in peace. The council urged all countries to condemn and put a stop to the stark violations, calling upon international and regional watchdogs and humanitarian organisations to support the Syrian people, particularly in Aleppo and neighbouring areas.
The Council also called upon Arab, Islamic and friendly countries to step up international efforts to put an end to violations and hold the perpetrators accountable.
