Bahraini crown prince patronises RAP graduation ceremony

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today patronized the Royal Academy of Police’s ceremony to mark the seventh graduating class of candidate officers.
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was welcomed by His Excellency Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa, Minister of Interior, and other senior officers from the Ministry of Interior. His Royal Highness praised the Minister’s vital contributions to maintaining peace and stability in Bahrain and also noted his dedication to his duties.
During the ceremony, His Royal Highness highlighted the success of the prestigious Royal Academy of Police’s rigorous training that has produced qualified officers able to fulfil their duties and implement the law. His Royal Highness further highlighted His Majesty King Hamad’s continued support of the Academy in recognition of its role in protecting the Kingdom’s stability and development.
Highlighting the importance of maintaining stability to Bahrain’s continuing progress and development, His Royal Highness spoke of his appreciation of the staff of the Ministry of Interior and the Kingdom’s security forces for their professional training and crucial role in safeguarding national security and upholding the rule of law. His Royal Highness then offered his congratulations to the commissioning officer cadets and highlighted their dedication to protecting the achievements of the Kingdom, which remains fundamental to supporting His Majesty’s programme of reform and sustainable development.
For his part, His Excellency Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to His Royal Highness, praising him for his wise leadership and support to the Ministry of Interior. He went on to note that the graduation ceremony represented a new phase in the commissioning officers’ professional development, including the commitment to upholding principles of the rule of law and respect for human rights.
During the ceremony, Colonel Dr Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Academy of Police, also addressed the officers. In his speech he emphasised the importance of properly training and qualifying officers so they can face any challenge in their future careers, highlighting the Academy’s use of rigorous training courses to prepare the cadets for their future responsibilities. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, son of the Crown Prince, also attended the graduation ceremony.
