
Under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LRMA) will host Sunday the distribution ceremony of the first edition of the Bahrain Awards for Community Awareness (Bahrain Awareness Awards).
The annual Bahrain Awareness Awards were launched by LMRA under the theme; "Human_Too" for the aim of projecting a positive and effective image that contributes to raising community awareness on the rights of workers.
Themed "Commitment to Paying the Domestic Employees Regularly", the 2014-2015 edition aims to raise awareness on the need to pay the wages of domestic works on time.
A total of 53 individual and collective artworks participated in the contest, of which 23 ones were selected by the jury. They include 15 short awareness-raising films, four drawings and artworks and four posters.
The awards are valued at BD 21,000
