
Deputy Premier and Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology Chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa chaired here today the committee meeting.
Deputy Premier Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Deputy Premier Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and the committee members were present.
The panel reviewed the committee's goals, work mechanisms and achievements since its establishment in 2005.
The panel welcomed the visit of an international delegation to be informed about Bahrain's experience in the field of e-Government, after the Kingdom's huge success at hosting 2013 United Nations Public Services Forum.
The Kingdom of Bahrain became the fourth country in the world and the first in the Middle East to host and organize such forum outside the UN premises in New York.
The panel looked at the latest preparations for holding the international eGovernment Forum next March and discussed the items on its agenda.
