Bahraini-Egyptian cooperation discussed

HRH Premier's Court President Shaikh Hussam bin Isa Al Khalifa received here today Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Issam Saleh Awad, reviewed with him bilateral relations and ways to consolidate them in all fields.
Shaikh Hussam underscored the importance of constant coordination and consultation to enhance joint ties, in order to accommodate the existing economic and investment opportunities and support the joint development process to achieve common interests.
He lauded the steadily-growing bilateral relations, thanks to the historic ties bonding the leaders and peoples of the two countries.
He affirmed that threats and challenges facing the region require strengthening the joint Arab action and the Gulf and Arab relations so as to support security and stability and provides an environment suitable for development efforts.
The ambassador praised the depth of the fraternal bilateral relations and the the two countries' keenness on promoting them in all fields.
He expressed hope that the coming phase will witness more efforts in order to serve the best interest of both the countries.
