
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, participated in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)'s Executive Committee's expanded extraordinary meeting at the level of the foreign ministers, on the serious situation in the occupied State of Palestine, including Jerusalem.
The meeting was held today at the OIC General Secretariat headquarters in Jeddah under the chairmanship of Saudi Foreign Affairs Minister, HRH Prince Saud Al-Faisal, in the presence of Palestinian Prime Minister, Dr. Rami Al-Hamdallah.
Latest developments in the occupied State of Palestine, and the continuation Israeli military aggression on the Gaza Strip were discussed.
The participants strongly condemned the continuing war crimes committed by Israel in the occupied Palestinian territory.
A communique was issued at the end of meeting, in which the participants expressed deep concern over the continuing brutal Israeli military aggression against the Palestinian people. It stressed the need to stop the Israeli military aggression and to hold Israel legally and politically accountable for war crimes committed there.
The participants called on the international community to force Israel to end the siege on Gaza. expressed appreciation for the Egyptian efforts exerted to stop the Israeli aggression and to achieve the truce, and the generous Saudi donation of 300 million Saudi Riydals to meet the services resulting from the Israeli aggression.
The communique also called for holding a conference of donors to rebuild what have been destroyed by the Israeli aggression in Gaza.
