
Minister of Interior Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, today attended the graduation ceremony of the 27th Commando Foundation Course..
The Minister expressed thanks and appreciation to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, for their support to all departments of the Interior Ministry to enhance the nation's security and stability. He said that the support increases the effectiveness of police performance.
The Minister congratulated the graduates and underlined security responsibility as a national duty concerned with the protection of lives and property.
The Commander of Special Security Forces, in his speech, hailed the Minister's directives and support aimed at enhancing competency and readiness of the police force in various situations. He valued sacrifices made by policemen in the line of duty to protect the nation.
The Minister presented awards to the top achievers, wishing all graduates success in serving the homeland.
The Southern Governor and Chief of Pubic Security attended the ceremony.
