
Minister of Interior, Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, today received Jordanian Interior Minister, Hussein Huzza' Al-Majali, and discussed security cooperation.
Undersecretary of Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chief of Public Security Major-General Tariq Al Hassan and Jordanian Ambassador to Bahrain also attended the meeting.
Interior Minister highlighting the importance of the continuing security cooperation and coordination between the two countries in view of the regional developments and joint efforts to tackle them.
He lauded the solid historical relations bonding the two countries which have been further reinforced by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein.
He asserted that the advanced cooperation between the two nations is the result of the support of the two leaderships for the joint action.
He highlighted his appreciation of the supportive stances of Jordan in the regional and international level that reflect the strong brotherly ties and joint destiny.
The meeting also discussed security cooperation, and coordination in a number of sectors, in addition to security matters of common interest, including training and exchange of expertise.
Jordanian Interior Minister expressed his thanks and appreciation of the warm reception. He welcomed broadening cooperation in all sectors, stating that it would benefit the two nations and improve cooperation to tackle challenges.
