
Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received the Haj mission which consists of 61 Ministry personnel leaving for Mecca. Minister of State for Interior Affairs Major-General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel and Public Security Chief Major General Taraq Hassan Al Hassan were also present.
The Interior Minister welcomed the mission, praising the leadership’s keenness to provide all needed assistance and facilities for Bahraini pilgrims. He was briefed on procedures taken to ensure the Interior Ministry Haj mission performs pilgrimage in the best conditions.
He underlined the Ministry's keenness to send a group of its personnel every year to perform the sacred rituals in appreciation of their efforts and dedication.
He directed the mission to adhere to the Bahrain Haj Mission's instructions, wishing them every success in performing pilgrimage.
The mission members thanked the Interior Minister for offering them the opportunity to perform the Haj and ordering all facilities for the purpose.
The meeting was also attended by the Interior Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources.
