
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today hailed the efforts of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) and Bahrain National Committee for Providing Relief Aid to the Somali people for launching development projects in Somalia.
He paid tribute to (RCO) Board of Trustees' Chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and the RCO management, hailing the efforts of the Bahrain's delegation to inaugurate a string of development projects in Somalia.
HM the King, also RCO Honorary President, today received RCO Board of Trustees' Vice Chairman Shaikh Adnan bin Abdulla Al-Qattan, who hailed the royal support for the two charity organisations.
He paid tribute to HM the King for his honourable stances in support of all brotherly and friendly peoples, hailing the royal directives to extend humanitarian and relief aid to all needy people all over the world. Shaikh Adnan bin Abdulla Al-Qattan paid tribute to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier for their support.
Shaikh Adnan bin Abdulla Al-Qattan paid tribute to (RCO) Board of Trustees' Chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa for spearheading charity and humanitarian work. He highlighted the RCO-led efforts to extend a relief aid to the needy and disaster-stricken people in brotherly and friendly countries.
In a statement today, Shaikh Adnan bin Abdulla Al-Qattan credited citizens, expatriate communities, companies and enterprises for donating in support of the distressed Somalis in the aftermath of the severe drought which ravaged their country.
RCO Secretary-General Dr. Mustapha Al-Sayyed extended deep thanks and appreciation to HM the King for continuously supporting and encouraging the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) and Bahrain National Committee for Providing Relief Aid to the Somali people.
