Bahraini king\'s intuitive on dialogue hailed by UK

The United Kingdom today welcomed the initiative of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa aims to reinvigorate the political dialogue process in Bahrain.The UK, in a statement issued by British Ambassador Iain Lindsay to the Kingdom of Bahrain, welcomed the meetings held today by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister with representatives of political societies and MPs and Shura members.The statement asserted that the UK strongly supports the National Dialogue process in Bahrain – it is the only way to promote peace and stability and address the legitimate aspiration of all Bahrainis. The UK encourages all parties to engage constructively in this process and build the trust and confidence necessary for longer-term reconciliation to take place.
