His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received here today a delegation from the Jamsheer, Bahzad and Belgassim families.
"I belong to this people, whose members are part of me. We share joy and sadness, and I am keen on being with all of them at times of joy and sorrow. I am interested in all issues related to the citizens," he said.
HRH Premier called for the need to promote the values that enhance the culture of communication among the Bahraini society, given its importance in cementing national unity.
He affirmed that the cohesion and solid relations among Bahrainis are the real means to strengthen the Bahraini society and consolidate its ability to counter efforts to divide its members.
He urged to allocate special care to the new generations and inform them about the importance of adhering to customs and traditions, and develop a feeling among them that all people living on this beloved land constitute members of a one family.
HRH Premier recalled the virtues of the late Dr. Najeeb Saleh Jamsheer, and contributions to the medical and therapeutic fields, praying to Allah Almighty to Bestow Mercy on him and Rest his soul in eternal peace.
The audience extended utmost thanks and appreciation to HRH Premier for the noble feelings he had expressed while offering condolences over the sad demise of Dr. Najeeb Jamsheer.
They prayed to Allah Almighty to protect HRH Premier and guide him on the right path, asserting that he is a GCC and Arab role model of leadership based on closeness to the people and keenness to adopt programmes and strategies based on the citizens' needs.
