His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received here today, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, the Chairman of the Shura Council Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and some Representatives and Shura Councils' members.
HRH Premier called for the need to cement national unity and rally together to safeguard it against those seeking no good for the homeland, noting that the Bahraini people's high awareness and national responsibility are capable of thwarting all conspiracies targeting the kingdom and its stability.
"Bahrain is lucky for having such a people, whose honourable stances have represented milestones in every phase of our national history," he said.
"We feel proud that kindness and good qualities are synonymous of the Bahraini citizens, and that those characteristics have become elements that attract visitors to the Kingdom of Bahrain," he added.
HRH the Prime Minister reviewed with the audience the latest regional and global developments, and expressed deep concern over the current situation in the Arab World, noting that terrorism no longer recognises borders, and has become a danger concentrated in the region.
He asserted that Bahrain will step up its anti-terrorism measures in order to leave no loophole through which it can penetrate into it, and enhance coordination with its regional and international partners to combat it.
