Council of Representatives Speaker, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, has welcomed the royal directives on supporting brotherly and friendly countries in the fight against terrorism and drying up its resources to maintain regional and international security and stability.
Speaker reiterated categorical rejection and denunciation of violence and terrorism. He hailed Bahrain's decision on standing by Jordan in support of its efforts aimed at eradicating terrorism.
Bahrain's move comes within the framework of the existing bilateral defence cooperation, the Joint Arab Defence Treaty and the Bahrain's commitment to the efforts of the international coalition to eradicate terrorism. It also comes as part of the solid brotherly ties of kinship and solidarity bonding the two kingdoms.
