
Public Security Chief Major-General Tariq Al Hassan has announced that policeman Ali Mohammed Ali martyred while on duty as a result of a terrorist bombing in Damistan yesterday evening.
He said that the homemade device used in the terror blast was detonated remotely.
The Public Security Chief stated that the martyr of duty is a Jordanian national who worked in Bahrain as part of the security and training exchange agreement between Bahrain and Jordan.
He added that investigators were deployed to the crime scene to collect evidence as soon as the operation room received the report, noting that the Public Prosecution was notified.
He offered sincere condolences to the martyr's family and colleagues, praying Allah Almighty to rest his soul in eternal peace.
