A graduation ceremony for a number of coastguard courses (boat captain course, diving course, maritime science course and maritime security course), organised by the Coastguard Maritime Training Section, was held today under the patronage of Public Security Chief Major-General Tariq Al Hassan.
The Public Security Chief hailed training competencies and efforts to enhance the skills of coastguard personnel, noting that the coastguard is one of the departments that the Interior Ministry is dedicated to develop and provide with the latest technology and international standards training services as part of the Interior Minister's development and modernisation strategy. He urged the participants to work harder to carry out their duties while complying with law. He wished them all the best in serving the nation.
Coastguard Commander Brigadier Alaa Siyadi thanked the Interior Minister and the Public Security Chief for their ongoing support to enhance the coastguard competencies, asserting continuation of holding training courses. At the end of the ceremony, the Public Security Chief presented the graduates with their certificates. The event was attended by a number of officers.
