
Council of Representatives Speaker, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, said that maintaining public money is a national duty and a promotion to the royal reforms, and that the 2013/2014 audit financial report will be studied in a professional manner and in accordance with constitution and parliamentary tools.
This came as Representatives Speaker today received National Audit Court Auditor-General, Hassan Khalifa Al-Jalahma, who submitted the 2013/2014 audit report to the Council of Representatives according to Article 19 of NAO Statute.
NAO Auditor-General highlighted the cooperation between the NAO and Council of Representatives, which has evidently contributed the implementation of NAO remarks and recommendations.
He noted the NAO mission that aims at assisting legislative and executive branches in controlling and managing public money.
