Bahraini speaker receives Shura Council chairman

Speaker of the Representatives Council Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Mulla underscored the importance of constant coordination and consultation between the two chambers of the National Assembly to create a strong foundation to promote the parliamentary work and serve the citizens.
This came as the he received here today the Chairman of the Shura Council Ali bin Saleh Al- Saleh.
They reviewed ways of enhancing cooperation and coordination between the two councils in the first session of the fourth legislative term (2014-2015) and matters of mutual interest.
They also discussed exchanging expertise so as to meet the citizens' aspirations in line with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's reform project.
Al-Saleh congratulated Al-Mulla on the confidence MPs' confidence, affirming his keen interest on promoting bilateral cooperation in order to reinforce the democratic march and maintain the developmental gains.
