Bahraini visa fees scheme updated

In accordance to a Cabinet edict 2-2266- 3-2266 of 2014 to grant citizens of 66 countries on-arrival visa and e-visa and e-visa for citizens of 102 countries, the Interior Ministry, through the Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs (NPRA), was assigned to implement the order.
The NPRA has carried preparations to implement the edict that will contribute in increasing the number of tourists, businessmen and expatriates under the new facilities, in addition to other facilities provided by NPRA as the issuing of e-visa doesn’t take no more than five days through the website www.evisa.gov.bh.
As part of the edict, the NPRA has updated the prices to meet the operational costs and unification of fees with the Foreign Affairs Ministry. The new prices will be effective from October 1 and they are as the following:
Pre-arrange visiting visa, BD30 - extending the visa for a month BD30 - Pre-arrange one-week visa BD25 - extending the one-week visa BD50 - request for visa through borders BD4 - one week visa for residents of GCC countries BD25 - extending the one-week visa for residents of GCC countries for another week BD25 - immediate visa for 66 countries for two weeks BD25 and extending it for BD25 - immediate visa for 3 months for United Kingdom and Ireland BD20 and extending it for BD20.
