
Sudanese President Omar Al Bashir on Tuesday took oath at the National Assembly premises for a five-year presidential term.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, presidents of Zimbabwe, Somalia, Djibouti, Kenya, Chad and Ethiopian prime minister as well as vice presidents of a number of African countries, Arab League secretary general and the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD), the Sahel and Sahara Gathering and representatives of Arab and African countries attended Bashir inauguration ceremony.
The ceremony was opened by a speech of Sudanese Speaker Ibrahim Omar who welcomed the heads of state and representatives of friendly countries.
