
The Lebanese capital Beirut will host on Wednesday the regional conference of the Arab partner countries in the European neighborhood policy under the rubric of "Beirut ministerial conference on revising European neighborhood policy".
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will participate in the event.
The conference will be held at an invitation from the Foreign Ministry and the Lebanese expatriates to convey the point of view of the Arab countries in depth, according to a statement issued by the media office of the Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil.
The neighborhood policy, which will be revised for the second time, aims at supporting the partners who carry out reforms to achieve democracy and promote human rights as well as comprehensive economic development.
The event will be attended by foreign ministers and representatives from Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Palestine, Morocco and Jordan as well as Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby.
