
Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab League Ambassador Ahmed bin Hilli expressed on Tuesday appreciation towards Kuwait's efforts during its presidency of the Arab League.
On the sidelines of the ongoing preparations for the 26th summit of the Arab League in Egypt, Bin Hilli told KUNA that Kuwait's efforts were felt during its tenure of Arab League Presidency last year, adding that the Kuwaiti-led ministerial delegation had conducted several visits to a number of Arab and foreign capitals to promoted Arab causes.
The Palestinian cause was highly featured during the Kuwait Presidency of the Arab League and that effort should be commended, said the Arab diplomat.
The upcoming Arab summit will be held in Sharm El-Sheikh on March 28-29.
