
Six Syrian citizens were killed and 40 others injured on Thursday as a car-bomb exploded near Maysaloun School in Al-Nazha neighborhood in Homs, local media reported.
The bodies of victims and the injured were rushed to nearby hospitals.
This preliminary death toll could rise further as many of the 40 wounded, including women and children, are in serious condition, Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted Director of Homs Health Directorate Hassan Al-Jundi as saying.
Separately, a Syrian citizen was killed and seven others wounded when two rockets struck Al-Zahraa neighborhood in Homs city today, according to SANA
