Cautious calm in Lebanon’s Tripoli

Cautious calm prevailed over the various traditional axes between Bab el Tebaneh and Jabal Mohsen on Monday morning with continuous sniping operations, according to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA). The traffic movement in the city is very acceptable and most shops, banks, universities, markets and schools opened their doors as usual, (NNA) added. The army responded to the sources of fire and conducted mechanized patrols. One person was killed and 14 wounded in the clashes that broke out on Sunday.
