
Terrorists on Thursday fired a number of mortar shells on several areas of Damascus Countryside, claiming the life of a child and causing material damage to a number of houses and cars.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that 3 mortar shells fired by terrorists fell near al-Wasim oil station on the northern highway in Maraba area, killing a 12- year old child.
Another shell hit a house in Bludan town, causing material damage to a house without human casualties.
The source added that 2 mortar shells fell on al-Younisyeh and al-Municipality neighborhoods in Jaramana city, causing large material damage to the site.
The source pointed out that other 5 shells fell on the Police Hospital and the area surrounding it in Harasta area, causing material damage to the site.
In the same context, 5 mortar shells also hit Harasta Suburb roundabout, injuring two citizens and causing material damage to the site.
