
Deputy Foreign Minister and Head of the Committee assigned to follow up the vote of Egyptian expatriates in the coming parliamentary elections Ambassador Hamdy Sanad Luza said the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) decided to send 70 obervers to follow up the coming parliamentary elections.
In press statements on Saturday, Ambassador Luza said the mission of the COMESA, to be chaired by Chairman of COMESA Committee of Elders Felix Mutati of Zambia, will include high-profile government officials from COMESA member-states, representatives of election bodies and civil society organizations accredited to COMESA members.
COMESA has taken part in Egypt's presidenital elctions held in 2014
