
Egypt's Awqaf (Endowment) ministry announced Tuesday that a committee comprising Arab ministers and senior figures would follow up the implementation of recommendations adopted during the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs International Conference.
In a statement, the ministry said the committee would include UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon Humanitarian Envoy and Counselor of Cabinet of Emir of Kuwait Abdullah Matouq Al-Matouq.
Also, it includes Awqaf Ministers of Mauritania, Jordan, Sudan and Bahrain, read the statement.
Lebanon Grand Mufti Abdel-Latif Derian, Advisor for Palestinian Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs Gamal Abou El Henoud along with senior figures from African and Muslim countries are also members.
