The committee of governance issues affiliated to the National Dialogue Conference in Khartoum called on Friday for keeping the presidential system in Sudan and authorizing the Sudanese president to appoint a prime minister.
It also gave the Sudanese parliament the right to question the premier to be appointed.
The conferees urged also applying the principle of separation among the three legislative, judicial and executive authorities in Sudan.
The upcoming constitution should maintain the principles of freedom and human rights, the head of the committee said.
