
The Council of Ministers, chaired by the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has approved a report on demarcation of Sudan borders with the neighbouring countries, which was presented by the Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Ismat Abdul-Rahman.
In a press statement, the spokesman of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Omer Mohamed Salih, has decided establishment of the National Commission for the Borders and launching a campaign for collecting the documents relating to Sudan borders.
He said that the Cabinet also decided to urge the neighbouring countries to complete border demarcation procedures.
