Giza Criminal Court is set to issue its verdict into the trial of Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed Badei and other leading members of the terrorist group in "Rabaa operation room" case.
On March 16, Giza court decided to refer Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed Badei and 13 others to the Mufti to review their death sentence.
Senior members of the terrorist group including businessman Omar Hassan Malik are among the convicts.
They were accused of joining a banned group, inciting chaos and violence against State facilities and top officials.
They were also convicted of circulating fake news with a view to undermining public security.
Consulting Egypt's Mufti is a procedural step adopted in all cases which involve death sentences.
