Crescent moon sighting appeal

The Crescent Moon Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs on Tuesday called upon all Muslims in Qatar to sight the new crescent moon of Shawwal on Friday evening, the 29th of Ramadan 1433 AH, corresponding to August, 17. The committee appealed to those who could sight the crescent moon to come to its premises at the Ministry building located in Al-Dafnah (the Towers zone) to give testimony where the panel will meet immediately after Maghrib prayers.
