
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, today visited Al-Azhar Mosque.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was received by Grand Sheikh of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb and a number of officials.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques performed the mosque greeting prayer, toured the mosque and was briefed on the restoration projects of Al-Azhar Mosque.
Then, King Salman laid the foundation stone of the Beouth Islamic City, which includes residential complexes as well as service and educational facilities for Al-Azhar students.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was accompanied by a number of princes and ministers.
