
The signatory Justice and Equality Movement has affirmed its adherence to the peace option and implementation of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur.
This was announced by the leader of the signatory movement, Brig. Abdul-Karim Bakhit Dabajo, at a press conference he held Saturday noon at the headquarters of the movement in Omdurman.
Dabajo said that his movement is ready to go ahead in implementation of all the clauses of the peace agreement, especially concerning the security arrangements' clause.
He stressed the importance of solution of all the obstacles facing implementation of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur on the ground.
Dabajo said that his movement has signed the peace agreement for the interest of the people of Darfur, but not for the sake of getting positions.
Meanwhile, the leading figure in the movement, Nihar Osman Nihar, asserted the commitment of his movement to the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur despite the delay in the implementation of its clauses.
He said that the movement is now ready for implementation of the security arrangements.
