As many as 33 fighters of Daesh have been killed when Iraqi forces repelled an attack on Anbar's Baghdadi district on Friday.
Some 17 Daesh militants, including suicide bombers, were killed in the Iraqi forces operation, while 16 others were killed in US-led airstrikes on the group's strongholds in Ramadi, security and local sources said.
Leaders of Daesh were among the dead, Anbar Operations Commander Maj. Gen. Qassim Mohammadi said.
Meanwhile, Iraqi Interior Ministry spokesman Saad Maan told MENA that Iraqi forces foiled a suicide attack by Daesh targeting a residential complex in Baghdadi.
Four suicide bombers were killed, he added.
