
The Wali(governor) of Central Darfur State, Ja'afer Abdul-Hakam reiterated readiness of his Government to cooperate with the Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration(DDR) Commission to implement a number of projects in areas of curbing spreading of weapons, resolution of conflicts and achievement of reconciliation within the coming period
Receiving the Chairman of he Commission, Engineer Abdul-Aziz Mohammed Abdul-Rahman in his Office , Abdul-Hakam indicated to need of the State to implement the joint projects , referring to importance of cooperation with DDR to curb spreading of light and heavy weapons in the State.
He underlined the State support to Commission initiatives on securing peace and stability at areas of disputes and application its programs in different fields.
The Official Spokesman of the Commission, Shukri Ahmed Ali told SUNA that the Commission delegation discussed with Wali programs and projects of the Commission in the State.
