
The death toll of the suicide car bombing, which targeted the Corinthia Hotel in the Libyan capital earlier, rose to 11 while 10 others injured, security spokesman announced Tuesday.
Three security men, four foreigners, and one unidentified person were among the killed, in addition to the three suicide bombers, while 10 people were injured, Essam Al-Naas, spokesman for the Tripoli joint security operations stated to KUNA.
Two gunmen, wearing explosive belts, blew themselves up at the 24th floor of the Corinthia Hotel after being besieged by security men, Al-Naas noted, adding that another explosive belt, worn by the third gunman, has been dismantled by security forces after they shot him dead.
