
A group of Russian investigators probing the Russian plane crash over Sinai left here on Friday.
The 21-member delegation left Cairo on board a private Russian plane to Moscow after their task was over.
Russian Kogalymavia’s A321 plane, en route from Sharm el-Sheikh to St. Petersburg, crashed in the early morning of October 31, a little over 20 minutes after takeoff.
The disaster occurred about 100 kilometers (62 miles) south of the administrative center of North Sinai Governorate, in the city of Arish.
Flight 9268 carried 217 passengers and seven crew members and they were all officially pronounced dead following the tragic crash.
Most passengers were Russian nationals. Among the people on board were also four Ukrainian citizens and one Belarusian national.
