
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry conveyed a verbal message from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh on Monday.
The message tackled ways to boost bilateral ties.
Sisi expressed in his message Egypt's keenness on developing its ties with Djibouti, Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdel Atti said.
Shoukry also handed over an invitation from Sisi to the Djibouti president to attend the third COMESA-EAC-SADC Tripartite Summit of Head of States and Government that will be held in June in Sharm El Sheikh.
The three blocs stand for the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa, the East African Community and the Southern African Development Community.
