
Chairman of Darfur Regional Authority (DRA), Dr. Al-Tigani Al-Sessi, Sunday received the final report of the DRA for solving the dispute between Ma'alia and Rezaigat tribes.
In a statement to SUNA, the Minister of Rehabilitation and Infrastructures at the DRA and chairman of its delegation for the dispute between Ma'alia and Rezaigat, Taj-Eddin Niyam, said that the report was focused on the importance of solving the dispute between the two tribes and imposing the state dignity and the rule of law.
He said that each of the two tribes has agreed to be represented by 10 persons to follow up and implement the roadmap for cessation of hostilities and to accept the DRA agreement till convocation of the reconciliation conference.
Niyam said that a delegation of the DRA and the federal government has visited the dispute area and met chieftains of the two tribes who agreed on holding a reconciliation conference as soon as possible to stop the blood-shed.
